When using any directions or map, it's a good idea to make sure the road still exists, watch out for construction, and allow extra time for traffic conditions. These directions is only to be used as an aid in planning your travel.

From DC: Take 14th Street Downtown. Continue to I-395 South. Take Exit #10B toward Mount Vernon/National Airport. Merge onto George Washington Memorial Parkway South. Enter Reagan National Airport on right. Follow the signs heading back to I-395 and leave Reagan National Airport. Make right turn at the sign for Gravelly Point. From MD Take I-95 S toward Washington. Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway Exit #22B toward Washington. Merge onto MD-295 South. Take the exit toward Washington. Merge onto US-50 W/ New York Ave. Stay on New York Ave. to 3rd Street Tunnel. Bear right on 395 South. Take Exit #10B toward Mount Vernon/National Airport. Merge onto George Washington Memorial Parkway South. Enter Reagan National Airport on right. Follow the signs heading back to I-395 and leave Reagan National Airport. Go approximately three miles to Marina Drive. Turn left. (You will see "Dangerfield Island" sign). From MD Take I-95 S toward Washington. Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway Exit #22B toward Washington. Merge onto MD-295 South. Take the exit toward Washington. Merge onto US-50 W/ New York Ave. Stay on New York Ave. to 3rd Street Tunnel. Bear right on 395 South. Take Exit #10B toward Mount Vernon/National Airport. Merge onto George Washington Memorial Parkway South. Go approximately three miles to Marina Drive. Turn left. (You will see "Dangerfield Island" sign). Hains Point - 900 Ohio Drive, "Awakening"**

From DC Take 15th Street South. Cross Constitution Avenue. Continue on 15th Street to Rock Creek Parkway (stay right). (15th Street will run out at Rock Creek Parkway.) Turn left on Rock Creek Parkway. Bear right immediately. Get in left lane. Enter East Potomac Park (Hains Point). Field will be on your right –- just before the tennis courts and golf course. (Note: 15th Street will also be marked Raoul Wallenberg Place as you approach Rock Creek Parkway.) From MD Take the Baltimore -Washington Parkway South towards Washington. Take the New York Avenue exit. Stay on New York Avenue until you reach the 3rd Street Tunnel (I-395 South). Take I-395 South to the Potomac Park exit. Proceed to stop sign. Turn right. Field will be on your right – just before the tennis courts and golf course. From VA Take 395 N to Potomac Park/Park Police Exit. (This is just past the 14th Street exit). Proceed to stop sign. Turn left at stop sign towards Hains Point. Turn left at next stop sign on Ohio Drive. Field will be on your right – just after the tennis courts. **To reach the "Awakening" field, proceed approximately 1.5 additional miles on Ohio Drive. The field is located behind the statue.

From the Beltway (I-95/495) Take Exit #17 (Route 202, Landover Road), towards Upper Marlboro. Go 1/2 mile to Lottsford Road and make a left. Continue on Lottsford Road which becomes Woodmore Road at Route 193. Proceed on Woodmore Road. The fields are approximately one mile on the left. From DC Take New York Avenue to Route 50 East (on right). Exit on MD-202E (Landover Road (Fed Ex Field)). Go to Lottsford Road and make a left (about 1 mile). Continue on Lottsford Road which becomes Woodmore Road at Route 193. Proceed on Woodmore Road. The fields are approximately one mile on the left.

From BW Parkway/295 Follow the Baltimore Washington Parkway South toward D.C. When the Parkway intersects 295 follow the lanes to the left toward the 495 Capital Beltway. Take the eastbound Pennsylvania Avenue exit. Take the first right onto Fairlawn Ave. (This is not marked, but it's right before the Mobil Station). Go to the stop sign and turn right again on Nicholson St. to enter the park. Fields are on the left. From 395 Follow 395 North into Washington, DC which becomes the SE/SW Freeway. Go about two (2) miles until the road forks. Take the right fork to Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. and then then take the Anacostia Park exit to the stop sign. Turn right onto Good Hope Rd. to enter the park.

From DC Take I-295 South (also known as the Anacostia Freeway) to MD-210 South (Indian Head Highway). Follow MD-210 South (Indian Head Highway) to the third traffic light and turn left onto Palmer Road. Travel 3/4 mile and turn left onto Tucker Road. Travel 1/2 mile and turn right at the entrance to Tucker Road Regional Park . From MD / VA Take Capitol Beltway (I-95/I-495) to Exit 3 to MD-210 South (Indian Head Highway). Follow MD-210 South (Indian Head Highway) to the third traffic light and turn left onto Palmer Road. Travel 3/4 mile and turn left onto Tucker Road. Travel 1/2 mile and turn right at the entrance to Tucker Road Regional Park .
